Background: Visa is targeted for modern people who live their life in the real world day by day. One of the main interests of the people is football. They watch all games of the local championships and of course wait for global football events.
World Cup for them is a historical moment and nothing in their lives will be more important then world cup plays.
Visa as a sponsor of FIFA world Cup – brings people this great event.
Agency task: Using the fact that Visa is a sponsor of the FIFA – remind people the joy of the football before world cup. To use for this biggest Russian social network.
Creative idea: The answer was simple – people should prove to themselves and to their friends that they really love football and know it really good. To make it in a interesting way.
So we came out with a quiz. To answer on 10 questions about football and visa and depending on quantity of right answers to get into one of five Visas’ fan teams. Every team had its own coat of arms. After quiz – person could place this coat of arms to his avatar. Of course if the result was not very good – person could try again.
We made five sets of questions. Every set had 10 questions. 4 about football in general 4 about world cup 2010 and 2 about visa. So participants not only competed who knows football better but learned about brand.
Very important part of this was humor. Half of questions was with jokes inside. Because we understand that people like those brands that entertain them - bring good spirit. So we make the quiz serious and funny at the same time.
